Programs

Infant Program (7 - 12 months)

Our infant program is a nurturing space where even the youngest learners embark on a journey of discovery. Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our caring educators create an environment rich in sensory experiences, gentle interactions, and meaningful connections.

Highlights:

  • Responsive Care: We prioritize building secure attachments through consistent, loving interactions.

  • Language-Rich Environment: Educators engage infants in conversations, songs, and stories, fostering early language development.

  • Sensory Exploration: A variety of textures, sounds, and visual stimuli encourage babies to explore and make sense of their world.

  • Movement & Play: We provide opportunities for safe, supported movement and play, promoting physical development and motor skills.

Toddler Program (1 - 3 years old)

Our toddler program is a dynamic space designed to ignite a lifelong love of learning. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we empower toddlers to explore their world with confidence and creativity.

Highlights:

  • Active Exploration: Toddlers engage in hands-on activities, fostering their natural curiosity and problem-solving skills.

  • Creative Expression: Art, music, and dramatic play provide outlets for self-expression and imagination.

  • Language & Literacy: We create a language-rich environment, encouraging toddlers to communicate and express themselves through words, stories, and songs.

  • Social-Emotional Development: We foster empathy, self-regulation, and positive relationships through intentional play and group interactions.

Preschooler Program (3 - 5 Years old)

Our preschool program sets the stage for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we foster children's independence, critical thinking skills, and a passion for learning.

Highlights:

  • Investigative Play: Preschoolers engage in open-ended explorations, sparking their curiosity and encouraging them to ask questions about the world around them.

  • Literacy & Numeracy: We provide engaging experiences that build early literacy and numeracy skills in a playful and meaningful way.

  • Social & Emotional Learning: Children learn to navigate emotions, resolve conflicts, and build strong friendships through intentional activities and guidance.

  • School Readiness: We focus on developing the essential skills and dispositions needed for a smooth transition to kindergarten.

Curriculum

At FCM, we embrace the Reggio Emilia philosophy, valuing every child as a capable, creative learner. Through art, music, movement, and language, children express their ideas, explore their world, and construct their own understanding. We believe the natural world is a rich classroom. Children will engage in outdoor play and nature walks, fostering a deep appreciation for the environment while sparking curiosity and wonder.

Through a blend of child-led exploration, teacher-guided activities, and free play, children develop essential social-emotional, language, literacy, and math skills in a joyful and engaging way.
